THE ABSECON VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY WILL BE THERE.

The Absecon Fire Co. #1 has only one major fund drive per year, typically beginning in July. Requests are mailed directly to all residents, there are absolutely no telephone solicitations that benefit the company.

The Absecon Volunteer Fire Company is staffed by highly skilled, unpaid firefighters that unselfishly donate their time, talents, and energy to provide our community with fire protection. If you should have an emergency, we respond with the equipment and manpower to deal with the incident. The Absecon Volunteer Fire Company has been providing your home with fire protection since 1913, while having only a fraction of our operating budget coming from municipal sources.

Volunteerism is what we believe in. We are members because we care and want to serve our community. To have the necessary equipment though, costs money; so that is why we ask for donations. Your donations have helped the fire company purchase numerous pieces of equipment, which has enabled us to better serve our community.
